I was involved in research during my years at school and have published articles in the field of orthodontics. My master’s thesis involved stem cell research and looking at the efficacy of using stem cells in craniofacial defects. This project explored newer treatment methodologies and evaluated their benefits in patients with significant craniofacial defects, such as cleft lip and palate patients, and trauma patients.
I strongly believe in participating in orthodontic continuing education courses to stay updated on newer methodologies throughout the year, whether digital technological enhancements or the latest in treatment methods.

I was born in the great city of Windsor, Ontario. I moved to Ann Arbor when I was 5, Denver when I was 12, and San Francisco when I was 18 after finishing high school. There, I completed the University of the Pacific’s 6-year accelerated dental program. After finishing dental school at UoP, I found myself back in Michigan once again when I matched into residency at Detroit Medical Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and graduated in June 2023. I love to perform full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma surgery, and pathology and reconstruction.
I am a wildlife fanatic and lived and worked in South Africa for a year raising rescued lion, tiger, and cheetah cubs at a wildlife reserve in Krugersdorp near the city of Johannesburg. I also have somewhat of a wildlife reserve of my own at home and am the proud father of two baby parrots.
I’m a petrolhead and love cars (both driving and admiring), cooking (my grandpa was a chef and taught me growing up), and playing my flamenco & classical guitar. I’m a mixed martial artist and have been training in MMA for over a decade, though my current profession has put some delicate brakes on my competitive participation in that. I look forward to the opportunity of using my training to assist in any way I can.
Our teeth can become dull over time due to diet, health, lifestyle, and even the aging process itself. But you can remove years of staining to reveal a brighter, rejuvenated smile. Our team uses the powerful yet gentle Zoom whitening system to dramatically whiten your teeth in an under an hour, all without causing uncomfortable sensitivity or irritation.
Chips, cracks, stains, gaps, and worn-down enamel can give you an imperfect smile. If your smile has lost its pearly white luster or overall confidence, we offer cosmetic veneers to correct dental flaws and create a natural and beautiful smile. A veneer is an ultra-thin shell of porcelain or ceramic that we bond to the surfaces of your teeth, instantly improving your smile without affecting the function of your bite.
If your smile has been impacted by tooth loss, crowding, injury, or other factors, our experts can lend their training to fully restore your smile with a complete cosmetic makeover. This involves a complete range of treatments to meet your unique cosmetic dental needs, rehabilitating your bite and giving you a beautiful, lasting smile.
Your teeth can become yellow and dull for many reasons. Drinking dark-colored beverages (such as red wine, coffee, tea, and soft drinks) can impact your teeth, as does eating acidic or highly pigmented foods. Smoking and using tobacco products can also stain your teeth, causing them to yellow over time. The most common cause is poor oral hygiene, which allows plaque to build up on your teeth and make them look yellow.
Cosmetic dental veneers are made from porcelain, ceramic, or composite resin materials. Dentists choose these materials for their durability and lifelike quality, achieving a natural look. Our practice offers veneers made from porcelain or ceramic, depending on your treatment needs and goals.
No, teeth whitening is a very comfortable procedure. Zoom whitening uses specially formulated bleaching gels and a gentle blue LED lamp to remove stains from the inside out. Your dentist takes every step to make sure you feel relaxed and at ease during your teeth whitening session. Once your treatment session is complete, your dentist will apply a post-treatment gel to protect your enamel and reduce sensitivity.
The lifespan of your veneers will depend on the type you choose, as well as general at-home care. Porcelain veneers typically last 10-15 years, while you can expect ceramic veneers to keep you smile for 20 years or more. You can extend the lifetime of your veneers and keep them sparkling white with good oral hygiene and regular cleanings with your dentist.
Like an dental procedure, the total cost of your treatment and care will depend on your unique needs as determined by our team. We will provide you with a complete breakdown of all treatment costs, as well as all options available to you. Our practice also offers convenient payment plans and financing options to help you cover the cost of your care.
Following your Zoom whitening treatment session, you can expect your results to last 12-24 months. You can maintain your whiter smile with routine touch-ups as recommended your dentist and by keeping up with your twice-yearly dental cleanings.
Our experts strive every day to provide comfortable, cutting-edge specialty dentistry that fits your smile, schedule, and budget.
